InAfrica Kili & Safaris contributes to community development by providing employment to local people who work as tour guides, accommodation service provision (home stays & camping), and direct sales of goods and services to tourists.
InAfrica Kili & Safaris has opened the door and opportunity for local people to sell goods and services directly to tourists. On the other hand, communities benefit indirectly through tax or levy on tourism income or profits with proceeds.
Community development by selling local goods
Development projects such as education, environmental conservation, and orphanage centers have been supported by InAfrica Kili & Safaris fees which make up a small portion of the package price. Other tourists have been providing voluntary donations to support local development projects, especially Maasai girls students.
